AUDERGHEM, THE GREEN
Auderghem is covered for almost a third by green spaces. It is airy, even though it is crossed from west to east by the motorway towards Namur and from north to south by the Boulevard du Souverain, an urban motorway. It is residential and offers a good quality of life.
The municipality of Auderghem has a dynamic cultural centre. The experimental botanical garden Jean Massart offers its wealth of plants to scientists and the general public. Nearby, the Prieuré du Rouge-Cloître offers numerous artistic activities for young and old. The nearby Forêt de Soignes is an exceptional destination for walks. 5 metro stations on line 5... A tram line and several bus lines complete the public transport offer. In addition, the motorway that runs towards Namur allows you to quickly reach the ring road. The Chaussée de Wavre is lined with numerous shops. The hypermarket near the Hermann-Debroux station and the other shops in the vicinity complete the offer. The UOPC offers a complete and varied catalogue of books in all fields.
Buying a house, flat or villa in Auderghem is significantly more expensive than in Brussels city. Renting a flat is exorbitantly expensive.
