The Etterbeek-Ixelles site of the Iris Sud Hospitals is located in the commune of Ixelles, a stone's throw from Place Flagey. It includes an adult emergency service, a gynaecological ward and a paediatric emergency service with a paediatrician on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The site also offers an intensive care unit. In addition to the standard medical and surgical units of an acute hospital, it houses one of the largest maternity wards in Brussels as well as a neonatology and paediatrics department. It has a day surgery and day medicine service, as well as a dialysis service. The polyclinic offers consultations in a wide range of medical specialties.
