Ixelles liegt s\u00fcd\u00f6stlich von Br\u00fcssel-Stadt und hat viele Gesichter. Im Norden vereint es die Vielfalt des Europaviertels (auch Leopoldviertel genannt), des Viertels \"Porte de Namur-Toison d'or\" (gro\u00dfe Marken und Luxusgesch\u00e4fte), Matong\u00e9 (kongolesische Stadt in der Stadt), Saint- Boniface (trendiger Ort) und Flagey (multiethnische Ecke). Im Zentrum finden Sie die Teiche von Ixelles. Die Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) und der Friedhof von Ixelles im S\u00fcdosten sind die Zentren eines Viertels, in dem das Studentenleben und die Restaurants einen guten Platz haben. Auf der anderen Seite der Avenue Louise schlie\u00dflich bietet das Viertel Bailly-Ch\u00e2telain viele kleine L\u00e4den f\u00fcr b\u00fcrgerlich-biedermeierliche Kunden.<\/p>

Von den Museen von Ixelles, Wiertz oder Constantin Meunier \u00fcber die Theater \"Varia\" und \"Marni\" bis hin zum unumg\u00e4nglichen Flagey - die Gemeinde ist voll von kulturellen Angeboten. Die Stra\u00dfenbahn- und Buslinien durchziehen diese farbenfrohe Gemeinde, in der man schnell von meist schicken Wohngegenden zu multikulturellen Partyvierteln gelangt. Ein Spaziergang um die Abbaye de la Cambre, entlang der Teiche von Ixelles oder an den Tagen des Bio-Marktes auf dem nahe gelegenen Place Flagey (Samstag- und Sonntagmorgen) kann ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlicher Moment sein.<\/p>

Ixelles verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen Immobilienbestand, den man sowohl bei H\u00e4usern als auch bei Wohnungen als teuer bezeichnen kann. Eine Wohnung zu mieten ist hier nicht billig.<\/p>
