Uccle ist eine sehr schicke Gemeinde, die nach Br\u00fcssel-Stadt die zweitgr\u00f6\u00dfte und nach der Bev\u00f6lkerungszahl die viertgr\u00f6\u00dfte ist. Die Stadt ist von gr\u00fcnen Inseln umgeben: dem Bois de la Cambre bis zum Wald von Soignes im Osten und der gr\u00fcnen Promenade, die Uccle von Nordwesten nach S\u00fcdosten bis zum Wald von Soignes, der ein Viertel der Gemeindefl\u00e4che einnimmt, umgibt. Mehrere Parks s\u00e4umen Uccle, darunter der Wolvendael.<\/p>

Das luftige Uccle hat eine wirklich charmante \"Unterholz\"-Seite. Mehrere Stra\u00dfenbahn- und Buslinien erg\u00e4nzen die f\u00fcnf Bahnh\u00f6fe Uccle-Calevoet, Uccle-Stalle, Moensberg, Saint-Job und Vivier d'Oie. Das Kulturzentrum von Uccle bietet eine Vielzahl von Theater-, Musik- und Filmvorf\u00fchrungen. In Ukkel gibt es mehrere Viertel mit hochwertigen Gesch\u00e4ften: das Viertel Saint-Job an der Chauss\u00e9e de Waterloo oder die Kreuzung zwischen der Chauss\u00e9e d'Alsemberg und der Rue Xavier de Bue.<\/p>

Der Markt in Saint-Job findet jeden Montag von 9 bis 13 Uhr statt und das schon seit 35 Jahren. Einige gute Restaurants befinden sich in der N\u00e4he des gleichnamigen Platzes.<\/p>
