Inzwischen sind auch kleinere H\u00e4user und B\u00fcrokomplexe hinzugekommen, die immer noch sehr naturnah sind (japanische Kirschb\u00e4ume f\u00e4rben viele Alleen rosa) und ein vielf\u00e4ltiges Bild in einem sch\u00f6nen, ruhigen Gebiet ergeben.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Die Gr\u00fcnfl\u00e4chen, Parks (la H\u00e9ronni\u00e8re in Watermael oder Tournay- Solvay in Boitsfort...) oder W\u00e4lder bieten eine erholsame Oase der Ruhe. Die \"gr\u00fcne Promenade\", ein markierter Rundweg um Br\u00fcssel, f\u00fchrt im S\u00fcden der Gemeinde an der Seite von Boitsfort entlang.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Neben seiner Bibliothek\/Spielothek und seiner Kunstakademie (die Gemeinde verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber ein Kulturzentrum, die \"v\u00e8nerie\", die sehr unterschiedliche Auff\u00fchrungen anbietet).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Der Keym-Platz, ein echter Dorfplatz, bildet ein kleines, \u00fcberschaubares Einkaufszentrum im Herzen von Watermael.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Im Zentrum von Boitsfort (Wiener Platz) gibt es gute Caf\u00e9s und Restaurants. Gr\u00f6\u00dfere Einzelhandelsgesch\u00e4fte gibt es in der Nachbargemeinde Auderghem.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Unter den Wohngemeinden im Osten Br\u00fcssels weist Watermael-Boitsfort einen relativ g\u00fcnstigen Immobilienbestand auf, sowohl f\u00fcr den Kauf von H\u00e4usern, Villen als auch von Wohnungen. Die Mietpreise f\u00fcr Wohnungen sind \u00e4hnlich hoch wie in den anderen Gemeinden im Osten
